I wanted to write about Royal vs St' Joseph's game before this. But had butterflies in my stomach preventing it. Honestly thought if Joes to win it would be by very small margin and for Royal were to win by much bigger margin. Game ended with just 5 points difference. I believe score line does not tell the exact story how Royal dominated the game. You might not agree with me , but if you want to verify just watch the replay. It was a great game of rugby where simply showed why schools rugby is way ahead of club rugby in the country. Both sides played really well. Only unfortunate thing was referee Dinka Peries had a very bad day. Lets not talk about it since nothing will change from that. Coming back to the game I really like the way current and recent past Royal teams are playing. They know exactly what to do. What opposition will throw at them. They absorb pressure like sponge. Other teams should thank the game is only 70 minutes this year. Those 10 extra minutes would ...

Woke up early at 4 AM here to watch what I thought would be a regular prize to grab, but end of the day proved otherwise. Evergreen Pathana boys once again  proved that they are not going to go down with out a fight. In-fact they won the war. Last week I commented on Royal rugby page saying that if we ( Royal) play basic rugby that we know, we should win the game. But day ended in disappointing manner leaving me wondering what Royal were trying to do. There were two tries scored of ill passes , most noticeably the last try scored by Sumudu Rankothge which sealed the deal for Pathana. I am sure Sumudu scored much hard working tries to win games , but would take this piece of cake with out thinking twice on any given day. If you watched those two tries scored by Pathana, they were result of Royal trying to spread the ball wide in side  their own 22 leading to fatal mistakes. Royal from the beginning looked to me like did not understood the equatio...

මෙවර අන්තර් පාසල් රගර් තරඟාවලියේ ශූරතාවය පිළිබඳව සිය බලාපොරොත්තු ඉහල නංවා ගත් රාජකීය ක්‍රීඩකයෝ පසුගිය සති අන්තයේ දී ඉසිපතන පිල පරාජය කිරීමට සමත් විය. මේ අනුව දැනට තරඟාවලියේ පැවති තරඟ සියල්ලම ජය ගැනීමට එම පිල සමත්ව සිටී. මෙම තරඟය 22 - 3 ලෙස ජය ගැනීමට රාජකීය පිල සමත් විය. තරඟයේ මුල් විනාඩි කිහිපය තුල දේවින්ද ප්‍රසාද් ගේ දඩුවම් පහරක් මගින් 3-0 ලෙස ඉසිපතන පිල ලකුණූ රැස් කල අතර ප්‍රථම භාගය නිම වන විට 5-3 ලෙස රාජකීය පිල පෙරමුණ ගැනීමට සමත් විය.

මෙවර සති අන්තයේ පැවති තවත් උණුසුම් අන්තර් පාසල් රග්බි තරඟයකදී ඉසිපතන පිල ඉදිරියේ සානත් පීතර පිල පරාජයට පත් විය. බම්බලපිටිය සාන්ත පීතර විදුහල් පිටියේදී පැවති මෙම තරඟයේදී ලකුණු 22-12 ලෙස ඉසිපතන විදුහල ජය ලැබීය. පසුගිය සතියේ සාන්ත තෝමස් පිල ඉදිරියේ පරාජය ලැබූ ඉසිපතන පිල සිය සුපුරුදු දස්කම් දැක්වීමට මෙම තරඟයේ දී සමත් විය. ප්‍රථම භාගය අවසන් වන විට 12-5 ලෙස ඉදිරියෙන් සිටියේ ඉසිපතන පිලයි.

මෙවර පාසල් රග්බි වාරයේ තමන් මුහුණ දුන් ප්‍රථම තරඟයේ දී රාජකීයන් වෙතින් ලැබූ පරාජයේ අමිහිරි මතකයන් ඉවත් කර දැමූ ගල්කිස්ස සාන්ත තෝමසුවෝ පසුගිය සති අන්තයේ දී ඉසිපතන පිල පැරදවීමට සමත් විය. තරඟයේ මුල් භාගයේ දී 12-3 ලෙස ඉසිපතන පිල පෙරමුණ ගත්තද අවසානයේ 28-12 ජයක් ලැබීමට සාන්ත තෝමසුවෝ සමත් වූහ. මෙම තරඟය හැව්ලොක් පිටියේදී පැවැත්විණි.
